National Honor SocietyLed by: Mrs. Nicole Friend

The Morton Chapter of the National Honor Society requires that students must have maintained a cumulative grade average over a minimum of three semesters in order to be considered for membership in the Chapter.  The average required, as set by the Honors Review Committee, is a 93-grade average or a 35.000 weighted average.

Those students who are determined to be academically eligible are then evaluated by the faculty to determine if any student is considered not qualified based on the other required criteria of citizenship, character, and leadership.  Once a student is inducted into membership of the National Honor Society, he or she must maintain these high standards in order to retain membership.
