Morton High School Key Club is a service leadership organization for high school students, operating under school regulations and drawing its membership from the student body.  Key Club is a unique organization because its joint sponsorship by the Morton Kiwanis club, which composed of the leading business and professional people of the community and school district.

 

Key Club's objective is the development of initiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship practices.  Key Club exists as a student-led organization on the club level, on a district level (state/province), and the International level. This highly developed structure provides service and leadership development programs, and the opportunity for teenagers to relate to their peers in the United States and other nations. Key Club is the largest service organization of its kind. It offers numerous opportunities to link with service learning and character education programming.

 
This year we helped with both school registration and freshman orientation, Meet the Teacher Night, the B.A.C.E. Pumpkin Ice Cream stand during the Pumpkin Fest, Peanut Days for Kiwanis, Letters from Santa, UNICEF, St. Jude Week at the High School, and numerous other school and community service projects.”
