Mrs. Holly Riggins grew up in Washington and attended Washington Community High School. She spent her college years at Illinois State University, earning a degree in history education. Mrs. Riggins taught US History for six years at Pekin Community High School before becoming a counselor at MHS in 2011. She has attended Bradley University for both her MA in School Counseling and Educational Leadership certificate. In 2016, Mrs. Riggins became the Director of Counseling.

Mrs. Riggins and her husband, Ryan, live in Washington. She has two children Reagan and Reid. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews.  She also enjoys shopping, watching the Cubs and Bears, and running with her friends.

Mrs. Stephanie Brown grew up in Stockton and she attended Western Illinois where she earned a Bachelors in Psychology and Spanish.  Upon graduation, Mrs. Brown attended Ball State University and earned her MA in School Counseling.  She worked as a high school counselor at Eureka High School and during that time Mrs. Brown also completed the Educational Leadership program through American College of Education.  For the past two years, she has worked with The DAX Foundation and enjoyed serving in that capacity!

Mrs. Brown lives in Washington with her husband, Aaron, and their three children, Liam, Kal and Vivian.   Her passions are her family and friends, being involved with The DAX Foundation and running.

She is so excited to be at Morton High School working with the students, faculty, and parents alike in this wonderful community!

Mrs. Kienitz is thrilled to be a part of the greater Morton Community and to collaboratively serve the students and families of MHS!
