Drive For Your School!

WHAT : Drive For Your School
WHERE: Illinois Street next to MHS.
WHEN: Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 - 4:00.
Mike Murphy Ford will have many Ford vehicles available to test drive. Mike Murphy Ford will generously donate $20.00 per drive. No sales pressure. Parent volunteers will accompany the test drivers.
You have to be 18 years or older to test drive.
We have a chance to raise up to $8000.00 for Morton Bands which will help to pay for over night competition trips; band instruments and equipment.
Please come out and Drive to help support the MHS Band!!!



The student drop off table has been moved from student services and is now in the main office. Just a reminder that we do not write passes for students for items (lunches, ipads, etc.) that are brought in and dropped off.
The lost and found is still located in Student Services.



Spring Musical ... April 26 - 29



Attention sophomores and juniors!

ICC is offering Introduction to Psychology (PSY 110) and Medical Terminology (HLTH 121) online classes exclusively for high school students.  (See your email for course descriptions.) These are taken independent of MHS and will not appear on your MHS transcript, but are a great opportunity for you to earn college credit.  Please see your counselor for more details and to register.  Classes begin August 20th and run 16 weeks.  Last day to register is May 4th.  Cost is TBD, but will not exceed $200.   A similar opportunity will likely be available for Spring 2019.


AP Testing

All students taking 2018 AP Exams are required to attend the AP pre-administration session in the cafeteria during 4th hour on May 3rd.  Bring a #2 pencil.

AP Physics 

  • Special announcement regarding AP Physics Exam
  • Exam is in the basement of the District Office.  
  • Meet at the canopy entrance at 11:30 to catch a bus to the District Office.  
  • Please pack your lunch and bring it with you to the exam.  
  • You will be transported back to the high school after the exam around 4:00.  
  • Please arrange for your own transportation home.  No buses will be available.  
  • Bring a ruler and approved calculator


Attention Students Taking AP Exams! 

  • Check your email and Google calendar for times and details related to your specific exams.  Please accept the calendar invitation!
  • Morning exams lunch schedule:
  • A lunch eats during 5S
  • B-D lunch eats at scheduled time
  • Afternoon exams lunch schedule:
  • All students eat A lunch, leave lunch early!
  • Report to your exam by 11:45

Please arrange for your own transportation home.  No buses will be available.

To the Parents/Guardians of grade 11 and 12 students:

Each high school junior takes the SAT in April.  The SAT is one measure of the progress your child has made toward college readiness. 

Please sign below indicating whether you do or do not want all of your student’s SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement Exam scores affixed to the student’s transcript.  (Please note a single score cannot be sent alone or deleted.)  Please complete the notice below and return the signed document to the Counseling Office by March 29th.  If you fail to return the form, your child’s SAT, ACT, and Advanced Placement Exams will NOT be affixed to the transcript.                 Select Form
